About us

About the podcast:

We don't live interesting lives. What we do live is boring first-world lives. This is a celebration of the stuff that matters the least.

About the authors:

Jeff used to work at some newspapers and lived in Ohio for a while. One time he stole someone's pet cat without knowing. Has almost no sense of style and cannot decide if he wears cargo shorts ironically or not. He likes punk rock and kinda hates Internet culture. Cannot stand his hands getting sticky. Unbearably cheap. Let's do this.

Mike is a 6-foot-3 former college baseball player who accumulated his wealth through timber. Some call him "the songbird of his generation." After cruising through an undergrad career at Harvard, where he double majored in biomechanics and chemical engineering, he decided to throw away everything and begin a career in a dying industry, so he moved to Florida and started work on his journalism master's at UF.
